Our Volunteers and the Volunteer of the YearThe MVP's of Team Tiny Treasures are our Members. So it is fitting to take a moment to acknowledge 2022's Volunteer of the Year (who happens to also be my mom)...Marilyn Kallio! Marilyn made 341 unique items in 2022, including angel gowns, bereavement gowns, buntings, diapers, and more. Scroll down a bit on the linked webpage to see some of Marilyn's creations and look back at previous years' Volunteers of the Year. Though we are especially grateful to Marilyn this year, we are grateful to all the Members of Team Tiny Treasures. As a Team this year, we created and either gave away or stored 823 unique items. Team Tiny Treasures had a total of fourteen active members this year! I think this is the most active members we have had in a single year since our founding in 2013. Fantastic job, Team!!

How You Can Help Tiny TreasuresWe have a need for monthly financial sponsors! We are 100% funded by community members who see the value in providing clothing and support to families experiencing the loss of their baby at any stage of pregnancy, during pregnancy, or during birth. One of our loss moms this year requested a care package some time after her loss, because she was given nothing to dress her baby in at the time of his passing, and she yearned for something tangible to hold as a reminder that her baby was real. We fill a true, and sadly, ongoing need. Can you help us with a one-time or ongoing financial gift? Please consider giving to Team Tiny Treasures as part of your year-end giving! We have a special need for regular financial support so we can concentrate on supporting families going through the loss of their precious baby. Thanks in advance for your generosity!
