How to Get Tiny Treasures for your facility or practiceTeam Tiny Treasures knows that hospitals, birthing centers, grief centers, organizations specializing in perinatal loss, grief counselors, doctors, midwives, nurses, doulas, spiritual leaders, and others are typically among those who have the first contact with families experiencing loss. Our all-volunteer Team provides all the items in our collection (the "Tiny Treasury") free of charge upon your request.

Angel Pouches
Buntings
Buntings wrap around the smallest babies. The baby is laid on the wrap, the two sides are drawn around the baby, and the ribbon is cinched at the bottom to hold the bunting closed. Our buntings are made with cute baby-print flannel fabric to take into account babies' fragile skin. We can make the outer portion of the bunting in another fabric (such as a pretty wedding dress fabric) if desired. There are two sizes which fit babies 14-19 weeks gestation.
Our buntings are sewn by Team Tiny Treasures volunteers, with a pattern designed by an organization that is no longer in operation, Angel Outfitters Buntings. |
Bereavement Diapers
Bereavement Diapers provide dignity and modesty for very tiny babies. They come in a matching pack of two, one for the baby, and one for mom and dad to take home as a memory. There are three sizes which fit babies roughly 18-33 weeks gestation.
Our bereavement diapers are sewn in cooperation with Teeny Tears Bereavement Diapers by Team Tiny Treasures and Teeny Tears volunteers. |

Bereavement Gowns from the Brides to Babies Project
Generous brides from around the country have sent us their wedding gowns (and other formal dresses) to transform into buntings, angel pockets, and bereavement gowns. We use as much of the original gown as possible since even "scraps" can be made into angel pouches! Bereavement gowns fit babies 18-40 weeks, and then newborn up to 6 months infant size. Some include a vest for a more masculine look. We can make larger sizes upon request. Due to the increased length of time to construct, we have limited quantities of bereavement gowns.

Hand-knit or Hand-Crocheted Bereavement Gowns & Suits
Layettes
In general, we seek to combine our talents to create complete layettes or sets. Depending on gestational age, this may be as simple as a bunting and a tiny hat; or, for larger babies, a gown, diaper, hat, and blanket (and sometimes, booties). For hand-deliveries for loss families, we like to present the layette in a pretty keepsake basket. Additional items are available from Tiny Treasures, including comforting stuffed animals, books for siblings, and our literature, so that families can get additional support in the future.
